Moscow International Festival of Chamber Theatres Slavic Crown Since 1995 it has become a tradition to welcome the participants of the festival, which opens its doors biyearly on the stage of Moscow Drama Theatre In Perovskaya in the beginning of June.
Slavic Crown is the unique permanent festival of chamber and little theatres in Moscow.
Moscow Administration is financing the Festival.
Theatres from Slavic countries and other theatres which performances are based on Slavic literature and drama are invited to participate.
The Festival promotes:
— Unification of Slavic cultures and peoples;
— Attraction of theatrical and scientific communities to Chamber theatre stating it as one of the leading trends of the modern Theatre Arts.
Within the framework of the Festival one can take part in variety of master classes, seminars, sessions and discussions of the performances. Creative groups proactively exchange experience. Extensive sightseeing and entertainment program is organized for the participants of the festival.
The Jury announces the winners of the Festival in several nominations.
We are glad to host a delegation of every theatre participant that doesn"t exceed 12 persons for the whole term of the Festival.
